Spyder VS1 with Infra-Red Eye

I just checked out the Spyder VS1 paintball gun. (See gun specs, check prices, or buy Spyder paintball guns.) In addition to having the great performance of a typical Spyder the VS1 is equipped with a paintball detection system. The paintball detection system, called the eye, is an infra-red beam that checks the breach for a paintball before allowing the paintball gun to fire. The infrared eye eliminates the chances of chopping paintballs during high speed firing.

The Spyder VS1 is compatible with both CO2 and compressed air. This paintball gun is capable of operating in burst mode or semi auto mode with the eye active. It also comes with a turn and walk system that allows the paintball gun to function in locked semi auto mode to comply with the rules and requirements of field managers and tournament organizers.

The trigger on the Spyder VS1 has a bonded polymer trigger frame that gives the VS1 a balanced and unique weight distribution when coupled with the VS ones lower and tank. The gun is compact and lightweight, has a solid feel, and seems to be very durable.

Spyder VS1 Criticisms. The only potential problem at the I see with the Spyder VS1 is its potential to malfunction easier simply because it has more technology in it.however, if the technology in the Spyder VS1 holds up well, and I have no reason to think otherwise, this will be a very popular paintball gun.

The Spyder VS1 is part of the Spyder VS series of paintball guns by Spyder. The VS2 and VS3 also come with the infra-red eye.

Spyder continues to innovate its paintball guns, and this is another example of a great improvement over the traditional class of paintball guns.

I own the vs one its seems to work good but is the a rocking trigger for it

    David:

I checked around and couldn’t find a rocking trigger for the Spyder VS1 that you could add on. However, Spyder has come out with rocking triggers for other models, so if you wait a little, Spyder might come out with a rocking trigger add-on for the VS1.

Unfortunately, the cost of upgrading to a rocking trigger on the VS1 appears to be between $100-200 on other models. Since it’s so expensive, you might be better off selling your VS1 and buying the Spyder VS3.

I Need help to figure which way to adjust my velocity on my vs1….. do i turn the alan screw left to increase the velocity or right to increase the velocity….?

  • 6 Paintball Guns // Jan 15, 2008 at 7:58 pm

Chester, on your Spyder VS1, turn the screw clockwise to raise the velocity or counter-clockwise to lower the velocity.

To increase velocity on my Spyder VS1, exactly which screw on the gun do you turn? Where is this screw located at?

    Z3FF3R:

To answer your question, there is a Spyder VS1 diagram showing the screw here: http://spiderpainballgun.blogspot.com/2007/12/spyder-mr3-paintball-marker-velocity.html
